REDUNDANT

I was let go today from my full-time gig.  I wasn't expecting it, but here we go.  I see it as an opportunity to try something else.  I have already applied for benefits and submitted my resume for another position.  We'll see.  In the meantime, please update me with any leads you may know of in the Denver-Metro area.  TY!

WELCOME BIANCA TO THE FOLD!

Bianca is the newest addition to my life.  She is a brilliant white '09 Chevy HHR... I call her the HOT HOT RIDE.  I found her at Rocky's Autos and they were able to beat my pre-approved car loan from the Credit Union by about 5 whole percentage points!  We've been together a week tomorrow and I couldn't be happier.  She is smooth, solid and doing great on fuel.  So far this weekend when I filled up the tank, we're getting better than 27 MPG combined.  Here is her first official portrait:

I have cleaned up the old ride and put it up for sale on Craigslist.

IN THE MARKET

I'm looking for a car... I have three in mind and saw one yesterday.  I would like to finish up before the end of December, as the dealers are anxious about getting rid of vehicles.  I should be able to get one at a decent price, right?  I know what I'd like and also what I need.  Then again, I'm not going over my budget for anyone.  I did get the loan pre-approved at my credit union, so it will be easier to negotiate a deal. Wish me luck!

OVER AND DONE WITH

Yesterday was the last day of the semester for me, period.  I went in to Art class to see the remaining final presentations.  I even got to help narrate one for a nervous student who's native tongue is Spanish.  She is very sweet and I had fun.  

Last night I went to Watercourse restaurant (vegetarian cuisine) and loved the tomato coconut curry soup.   Next time I"m getting the larger bowl portion and a salad.  The Juan wrap was tasty but I couldn't finish everything.  

Today, laundry is done and I've posted several new designs on the CafePress store site, some LGBTQ, and others Colorado specific.

Semester's End

Well, folks... The semester is done, but I'm keeping my bloggy... Wait, that's Madonna and her baby.  Anyway, I will keep the blog but shift the focus a bit to other items besides sexuality.  Keep checking back and know that I appreciate you taking the time to look around.
